PFAS testing at ex-Buick City site expands amid effort to reduce flow into Flint River

A rainy spring slowed progress on testing at a former General Motors Corp. factory site to determine how PFAS is getting into the Flint River.

But crews will expand their efforts at the 413-acre former Buick City property on Flint’s north side over coming weeks. More sampling locations for the toxic chemicals will be added to the testing plan for the storm sewers that drain into the river. Read more.
