More contaminated soil must be removed from former gas station site in Madison Township

It’s been about nine months since the demolition of a former gas station that had become an eyesore at the northeast corner of Hubbard and Chapel roads in Madison Township.
But the vacant property at 1991 Hubbard Road, where that building once stood, is not yet ready to be marketed for future development. That’s because tests are still detecting petroleum contamination in the ground below the former business site. Read more.
